The project includes a 1.5-acre public park that opens the West Loop neighborhood to the main branch of the Chicago River. The series came about as a result of the LA Program and LAAAB wanting to bring together students, alumni, faculty and staff to interact and learn together.
Two or more times a year, the Landscape Architecture (LA) Program and the Landscape Architecture Alumni & Advisory Board (LAAAB) co-host the Distinguished Speaker Series at Michigan State University.
